The model 2XXXX DSI was designed to replace over 70 different
types of direct spark ignitors currently in use. Micro-controller
based, embedded technology, is what makes the difference between
the 2XXXX and the competition. This universal ignition module
offers superior capability and an impressive price/performance
ratio.
The control is fully factory configurable, allowing one control
circuit board to handle various voltages, current, and current
timing requirements. Control operation is based on its integral
micro-controller's program execution. The Model 2XXXX takes advantage
of a new generation flash memory micro-controller I.C. This micro-controller
is factory programmed at the time of manufacture and does not
require the excessive time and minimum purchase quantities of
"masked" based designs. The device contains field proven
highly noise immune circuitry with redundant relay drive for reliability.
